Co-curricular activities are the activities through which a learner explores his abilities, taps on the strength and creates a broader vision of life.
 
The importance of CCA competition in modern education can be fathomed by the fact that these activities have become an integral part of the curriculum policy and present-day school life cannot be imagined without ongoing debates, 1 minute talk show, rangoli competition, debates are the inter-house competition to name a few from the ever-increasing list. These activities not only give an equal opportunity to every child but also boost their confidence and spirit of participation with independence. Students learn to contribute, manage and organize, individually as well as in a team.

It sparks their innate skill of leadership, responsibility, innovation and creativity. It provides a golden opportunity to promote original thinking and skillful execution. It also helps them to inculcate and nurture the social and moral values. In short co-curricular activities play a vital role in producing better and more Complete Individuals. We at NPS-NORTH had organized CCA competition for the students from grade I to VI on 31st January, 1st February and 2nd February 2023. Students of grade I demonstrated confidence when they participated in the Talk Show competition. They spoke fluently in English and expressed their opinions. Students of Grade II made beautiful Posters on Recycle and Reuse- the activity enhanced they thinking skills to curb the usage of the products which are harmful for the environment. Students of grade III participated in the Bookmark making competition which gave them an opportunity to think creatively. Students of grade IV actively participated in the Rangoli making competition. It was a bliss to see young boys and girls using the rangoli powder to draw beautiful designs on the floor and fill colours/flower petals with precision. Students of grade V participated in the Collage competition on Conserving our monuments. They wrote beautiful slogans on saving the rich heritage of our country India. Students of grade VI got opportunity to speak as they all participated in the Declamation competition. Students spoke confidently, fluently and expressed their opinions without any inhibition in-front of their classmates and teachers.
