“The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country.” A famous quote by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, was put into action by the faculty at NPS NORTH on their first Children’s Day Celebration, held in school on 14th November 2022.
The pre-school students enjoyed this special day with their teachers, singing songs, reciting poems and dancing for them on popular rhymes.The teachers conducted a special assembly and planned an intriguing storytelling session through a puppet show, carrying a moral value. Teachers all dressed in shades of pink to radiate love and affection for their young students.
Various games and activities were held, all day to entertain students, besides providing hands- on learning too.
The whole essence and vibe in the school was the importance attached to this special day,of that to honour Pandit Nehru’s dream of giving every child a good education so that they can become the nation’s future leaders and help contribute to a progressive society.
Students were delighted to receive chocolates and stars as take-aways for home. They all went back home after a day filled with gaiety, fun and warmth.
