Holi, popularly known as the Festival of Colours, was celebrated indeed very colourfully by the Pre-primary students of NPS NORTH on Tuesday, 7 th March, 2023.

A special assembly was conducted, wherein the significance of the festival was elaborated upon. A story about celebrating Holi was narrated using interactive videos, followed by a quick quiz. Students enjoyed singing rhymes and songs. Students came dressed in vivid and vibrant hues and the entire department looked very festive.

Different fun activities like using finger-paint, colouring a picture of water gun with crayons, blowing paint with straws were done in respective classes to integrate art and craft education. These activities also enhanced fine motor development.

As always with any celebration in school, students had an enriching understanding of the event, which is not only educational, enjoyable but also experiential, besides being memorable!!
