On 23rd of June 2023, Grade VI A organized a special assembly on World Olympic Day. It was a day that was brimming with inspiration and pride as students came together to celebrate the essence of the Olympics and pay tribute to extraordinary individuals. The assembly commenced with a moment of reflection and a thought-provoking quote by Eleanor Roosevelt: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Students were reminded of the importance of dreaming big and persevering to achieve their goals.
The assembly featured news updates, keeping everyone informed about national, international, and sports events. The students beautifully enlightened the assembly about the symbol associated with the Olympics. The Olympic symbol, consisting of interconnecting rings, signifies unity among athletes worldwide, while the Olympic torch represents celebration, unity, and the passing of the Olympic spirit.
The highlight of the assembly was when students role-played eminent INDIAN SPORTSMEN & OLYMPIC MEDALISTS Sakshi Malik, a bronze medalist in wrestling, Milkha Singh famously known as the “Flying Sikh,” Mary Kom, a legendary boxer and Olympic medalist. They all spoke confidently and motivated every one take up the sports passionately.

The assembly culminated with our national anthem.
