Nelson Mandela once said, ‘A leader is like a shepherd. He stays behind the flock, letting the most nimble go out ahead, where upon the others follow, not realizing that all along they are being directed from behind.’

The inceptive investiture ceremony for the academic year 2022-23 was held on 9th of September with great pomp and dignity at NPS North, Bangalore.
It was an indelible day for the title holders to stand as leaders before their fellow classmates. It was an honour, as they vowed to adhere to the rules and regulations of the school.
The ceremony was administered by the Principal, Mrs. Devi Nair and the Deputy Head Mrs. Anju Chokhani.
Mrs. Devi Nair addressed the students to be worthy role models for their peers by being exemplary in their disposition and demeanour. She then congratulated the newly elected leaders and emphasised the significance of setting priorities and the need of the hour to be a team player. She reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the School stands for and urged them to take responsibility with commitment and integrity.
The oath taking ceremony was led by Principal, wherein the House Prefects pledged to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the rules and regulations of the school.
The House Prefects addressed the students about their respective houses – Ignis, Ventus, Terra and Aqua, highlighting the significance of each of these elements in sustaining the planet Earth. Leadership is a way of life for all members of these houses at NPS North.
