Krishna Janmashtami

On Friday, 19th August 2022, the Pre Primary students of NPS North celebrated Krishna Janmashtami. Music, dance playful naughty maakhan chor little Krishnas and Radhas dotted the classroom.

To mark the significance of Janmashtami, students came adorned in elaborate costumes as  Radha and Krishna, danced and sang songs set to melodious and soothing lullabies as sung by Yashoda. Stories from life of Krishna were presented through narration and video to children by the teachers .

Students  enjoyed embellishing the flutes and role playing themselves with   the flute  as the enchanting flute player, a graceful dancer and a warrior  that Krishna was.

The festive mood, the color and vibrancy soaked in the spirit of  the festival.
