On September 5th, 2023, National Public School-NORTH celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm and joy. Teacher’s Day is a special occasion to appreciate the hard work and dedication of our educators. This year’s celebration was no different. Students presented a gamut of games, songs, dances, a cosplay tribute to the eminent educators of India.
The highlight was the cosplay tribute to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teacher’s Day in India. Students came dressed as Dr Radhakrishnan, wearing traditional attire reminiscent of the esteemed philosopher and statesman. The cosplay included eminent educators like Swami Vivekananda, Chanakya, Dr Abdul Kalam who have left an indelible mark on the education system in India.
To make the celebration even more enjoyable, various games and activities were organized. Teachers and students participated wholeheartedly in games like Dumb Charades, A minute to win it and more. These activities not only added a fun element to the event but also promoted camaraderie among the NPS community. The dance and the songs presented resonated essence of Indian education system, the relationship between – Guru and Shishya The teacher talk segment for the day delved on the intricate and mutually dependent fabric of the school community .
Another heartwarming aspect of the celebration was the distribution of handmade cards by students to their teachers. The heartfelt messages touched the teachers’ hearts, making them feel valued and cherished.
The Teacher’s Day celebration at National Public School was a memorable and heartwarming event, making it special for everyone. It reinforced the bond between teachers and students and highlighted the significance of education in shaping our future.
