Let our hearts be full of both, “Thanks and Giving!”

The students of Pre-Primary NPS NORTH presented a special assembly on Thursday, 24 th November 2022 to celebrate ‘Thanksgiving Day’ by inviting the bus drivers, bus attendants, support staff and security guards and thanking them.

Students from KG 2 expressed gratitude in their own words to everyone for helping them reach school, use the washrooms, use the play area, stay safe, feel secured, grow, and work together.

Students from KG 1 made beautiful cards using palm and thumb prints and presented them to the bus drivers and bus attendants. It was heartening to see the delight on their faces and the moistening of their eyes, while accepting these cards.

Nursery students sang a heartfelt and enthusiastic ‘Thank You Rhyme’. They were jumping with joy to have taken part in the assembly and performing for the first time instead of being just an audience.

The festival was indeed given an innovative twist, by thanking those who work seamlessly and stand as silent pillars in the journey of our children’s education.

Every day is a great day for learning something new, Gratitude builds self-confidence, increases positive thoughts. Gratitude brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow!
