Yellow day

Happiness, warmth and sunshine beamed vibrantly at National Public School- NORTH on Friday 29th July 2022, as the pre-primary students celebrated Yellow Day.Acquainting the pre-schoolers with the colour Yellow was the objective of the assembly.

To quote Joy Sewing– “In the world of safe hues, like black, red and white, yellow shouts: ‘Look at me. I’m happy!’”

The young kindergartners came all dressed in varied shades of yellow. The teachers too joined in wearing yellow in sync with their students. Yellow-coloured snacks like corn, bananas, pineapples, dhoklas and a range of assorted food marked the day.

Holistic learning continued through the day with rhymes associated with yellow colour and a special assembly with a quiz on –“What is yellow in colour “.
