The Celebration of Infinite Possibilities
The students of National Public School-NORTH assembled to celebrate National Space Day, commemorating India’s remarkable achievement in space exploration. The assembly began with a prayer, led by the school choir. The theme of National Space Day 2025 is ‘Aryabhatta to Gaganyan: Ancient Wisdom to Infinite Possibilities’. The special assembly presented by students of V A was an observance of the legacy, and the celebration of contemporary aspirations in space exploration.
The students presented the significance of National Space Day which honours the safe and soft-landing of Vikram Lander on the lunar surface on 23 August 2025. A poem, ‘To the Moon and Beyond’, was recited as a tribute to ISRO’s scientists and engineers, highlighting India’s space dreams and accomplishments.
A dance performance, ‘Cosmic Dreams’, followed, showcasing India’s successful landing on the moon through a portrayal of ISRO scientists and engineers working together to launch Chandrayaan-3 and achieve a successful lunar landing. The performance included inspirational songs, emphasizing teamwork, perseverance, and national pride.
A teacher’s talk was delivered, providing insights into the significance of National Space Day and India’s space programme. The assembly concluded with a message encouraging students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and strive for excellence.
The assembly was well-organised, engaging, and inspiring, fostering a sense of national pride and curiosity about space exploration.
