On 21 st November 2025, students from Grades II A, B, and C at National Public School–NORTH hosted a special assembly to celebrate World Television Day with great energy and enthusiasm. The programme highlighted the significant role of television as a medium for information, education, and entertainment.

The students demonstrated how television supports visual communication and remains one of the most trusted ways to share information worldwide. An exciting parade of cartoon characters showcased how TV entertains people of all ages. Additionally, through a short skit, the students conveyed that while television is engaging and informative, it is important not to become addicted to it. They encouraged everyone to watch TV in moderation and to spend more time outdoors, reading books, and engaging with family.

The celebration ended with the National Anthem and a shared pledge to watch television responsibly. The event was successful, aiding students in recognising the influence of visual communication and the need for balanced screen usage.
