Shining a Light on Sustainability: Grade III C and III E Lead Special Assembly
On Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, the students of Grade III C and III E at National Public School, NORTH, conducted a special assembly centred on the theme of World Sustainable Energy Day. The event served as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect the planet through mindful energy consumption.
The Thought for the Day: “Save energy today to secure a brighter tomorrow,” set a reflective tone for the morning’s proceedings. Following this moment of reflection, the focus shifted to global awareness. A dedicated news segment, designed to keep the student body informed of the world around them, featured national news, international updates, and the latest news from the world of Sports. The message of sustainability was further celebrated through an energetic dance performance that captivated the audience. This was followed by teacher talk, in which encouraging words urged the students to take their roles as future environmental leaders.
The assembly concluded on a solemn note with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of purpose to be the solution to pollution.
