Student Council Elections 2026–27: Leadership Begins Here

On Friday, 26 June 2026, National Public School, NORTH successfully conducted the Student Council Elections for the academic year 2026–27, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing leadership, democratic values and responsible citizenship among its students.

The election process commenced with the nomination of candidates, followed by the campaign during which aspiring student leaders confidently presented their vision and plans to the school community. A significant feature of this year’s elections was the introduction of the e-ballot system, seamlessly integrating technology into the democratic process. The voting was formally inaugurated by the Principal, following which teachers and students from Grades VI to XII enthusiastically queued up to cast their votes through a secure, and efficient electronic voting system.

The Election Committee worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth conduct of every stage of the elections, upholding the highest standards of discipline, fairness and transparency. The announcement of the results was met with resounding cheers and celebrations as the newly elected student leaders were entrusted with the responsibility of serving the school community. The successful elections laid the foundation for a dynamic Student Council that will lead with integrity, and a spirit of service throughout the academic year 2026–27.
