Hues of Heritage: A Splash of Creativity at the 2026 Visual Interpretation Challenge
To foster deep respect for the school’s story,
Students paint with skill and cultural glory.
On A3 canvases, original thoughts take flight,
‘Hues of Heritage’ shine in sixty minutes’ light.
Through creative skill and talent’s natural flame,
They build a lively spirit that no art can tame.
On June 27, 2026, our school buzzed with artistic energy as we organised the Painting Competition – visual interpretation challenge. As a core component of the CCA-I for students in Grades VI to VIII, this event was meticulously designed to foster artistic understanding, spark imagination, and instill a profound respect for cultural heritage.
Under the evocative theme ‘Hues of Heritage-The NPS NORTH Story’ the students were guided to move beyond simple imitation of the display. Instead, they were challenged to translate their personal interpretations into original masterpieces. With a strict sixty-minute time limit, students worked diligently on A3 canvases, utilizing a variety of colouring materials to bring their unique visions to life.
The competition was not just about speed, but about substance. Entries were evaluated based on creative flair, technical proficiency, and how effectively they captured the spirit of tradition. Ultimately, the initiative aimed to foster holistic development and imaginative exploration among the student body.
