Circle Time

Circle time is a sacred ritual for the pre-primary. Being  a structured classroom session, it aims at fostering community and smooth transitions.

It begins with a settling period using a mascot, followed by a minute of silence for grounding and a prayer.

Followed by songs that introduce the days of the week, weather, and calendar activities to promote peer learning and revision. Classroom rules are revisited, and bilingual rhymes help children grasp directions.

A general knowledge segment covers number recall, as simple as it might seem like the Earth’s alternate names, and geographical facts.

The session ends with students quietly transitioning back to their desks to continue the day’s routine.
