National Public School, NORTH celebrated Hindi Diwas with a special morning assembly conducted by students. The programme began with a meaningful couplet highlighting the importance of one’s mother tongue, followed by a prayer song performed by the choir group.
Students presented updates on national, international, and sports news. A brief interaction emphasized the significance of celebrating Hindi Diwas, after which several students explained the importance of the Hindi language. The assembly included a Saraswati Vandana and a cultural performance by the students of Class IV. Class III presented a delightful dance-drama featuring the song “Ek Chidiya, Anek Chidiya,” which emphasized unity. Classes I and II performed a short skit promoting healthy eating with fruits and vegetables.
The event was informative, and inspirational, leaving everyone with a deeper appreciation for the language and culture.
