The students of National Public School – NORTH celebrated Independence Day with vibrant energy and immense pride!
The young pupils dived into the meaning of freedom, realizing it’s all about making choices and living happily. The story transported everyone back to a glorious land known as India/Bharat, filled with breathtaking rivers, majestic mountains, diverse wildlife, and joyful people.
With spirited narration and powerful slogans, the students brought to life the bravery of India’s freedom fighters, displaying how they united, fought valiantly, and finally regained independence. The excitement peaked as they joined hands and sang “Mera Mulk, Mera Desh, Mera Ye Watan,” their voices echoing with patriotic fervour throughout the hall.
The celebrations also included a patriotic song by the school choir, a quiz , and a colourful ramp walk – Many Shades, One Nation – by Grade III students in
traditional attire.
Students delivered speeches in English, Hindi, and Kannada stating the significance freedom. A patriotic dance performance by Grades 4 to 7 brought vibrant energy to the stage.
As we cherish the freedom we enjoy today, let us pledge to protect it with our actions – by respecting others, caring for our environment, and working together in harmony. May we carry forward the spirit of unity and responsibility so that the India of tomorrow is even stronger than the India of today. Jai Hind!
