This quote by Neeraj Chopra set the tone for Grade VII C’s special assembly on International Olympic Day, held on Monday, 24th June 2024 at NPS-NORTH.
The assembly featured a compelling skit titled “A Day in Khandra: Neeraj Chopra’s Olympic Journey,” portraying his rise from a humble village to Olympic stardom amidst the many struggles and challenges faced by him.
The teacher’s talk about importance of health and fitness added value to the theme. She highlighted the names of some notable Indian medallists who did the country proud in the Olympic Games starting from Abhinav Bindra to Mary Kom and more.
On Olympic Day 2024, let us continue to embrace unity and diversity for a more inclusive world.
