Roaring for a Cause; Stripes of Hope- International Tiger Day Assembly
The students of Grade III A at National Public School, NORTH conducted the International Tiger Day special assembly on 4 August 2026 to raise awareness about tiger conservation and the importance of protecting forests and wildlife. The programme commenced with the school prayer and an inspiring Thought for the Day. Students explained the significance of International Tiger Day through an informative conversation, emphasising the crucial role of tigers in maintaining ecological balance and the necessity of protecting them from threats such as deforestation and poaching.
A key highlight of the assembly was a skit titled ‘The Job Interview’, which effectively conveyed the importance of conserving forests and safeguarding wildlife. Subsequently, a dance performance celebrated the beauty, strength, and majesty of tigers.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, fostering a sense of pride and unity among students. The special assembly provided informative and engaging content, enhancing students’ understanding of wildlife conservation and their responsibilities in preserving the environment.
