Celebrating Youth as Catalysts for Change!
 
On 17th August, National Public School – NORTH celebrated International Youth Day with a vibrant Special Assembly centred on the theme ‘Youth Empowerment: Be the Change, Shape the Future’. Organised by Aqua House, the programme emphasised young people’s crucial role as agents of positive change. The assembly began with the School Prayer, followed by a thought-provoking address that underscored the significance of International Youth Day and inspired students to embrace responsibility, innovation, compassion, and leadership.
 
The highlight of the event was an impactful skit titled ‘Be the Change’, which illustrated the importance of kindness, teamwork, and environmental responsibility through relatable everyday scenarios. A lively dance drama celebrating the aspirations of young minds, paired with an inspiring choir performance entitled ‘Voice of the Future’, infused the celebration with energy and colour, leaving the audience motivated.
 
The assembly concluded with an engaging address from a teacher, followed by the impactful International Youth Day Pledge, reinforcing the students’ commitment to becoming responsible and compassionate citizens. The event culminated with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired by the message that today’s youth possess the power to shape a better tomorrow.
