The Kannada Rajyotsava Assembly was organized with great enthusiasm by the students of Grade I-VIII at NPS-NORTH. The celebration began with the school CEO hoisting the Karnataka state flag, accompanied by the soulful rendition of the state anthem, Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate, setting a patriotic tone.
To represent the state’s modern achievements, students dressed as Harekala Hajabba, Nemichandra, Abhishek Gupta, Girish Koushik, Anu Akka and many more. They proudly presented short speeches about the lives and achievements of these personalities.
One of the key highlights was a display showcasing the diverse culinary treasures of Karnataka. Students displayed food stalls representing regional specialties, giving the attendees a glimpse into the state’s gastronomic richness.
A captivating Yakshagana performance by the students stole the limelight. This traditional dance-drama, with its vibrant costumes, expressive movements, and rhythmic beats, received thunderous applause and transported the audience into Karnataka’s cultural heart.
The CEO of the institution addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of preserving and celebrating Karnataka’s unique traditions and languages. The motivational words encouraged students to take pride in their roots while striving for national integration globally.
