National Public School, NORTH proudly celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava, marking the 70th year of Karnataka’s formation, through a vibrant and dignified special assembly held on 18th November 2025.
The programme commenced with the hoisting of the Karnataka flag by the Principal, Dr Koushalya Varadarajan, followed by the soulful rendition of the State Anthem, ‘Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate’, inspiring a sense of unity among everyone.
Students from Grades 1 to 11 showcased Karnataka’s rich cultural legacy through a variety of captivating performances. Students in Grades 1 to 3 presented an engaging impersonation act accompanied by a graceful dance. Grade 4 students displayed creative posters celebrating Karnataka’s culture; Grade 5 rendered a melodious Kannada group song; and Grades 5–9 mesmerised the audience with traditional folk dances, including Veeragase, Dollu Kunita, and Hulivesha, embodying the energy of love and respect for the state, language, and culture.
An enlightening presentation on Saalumarada Thimmakka highlighted the importance of environmental conservation. The event concluded with an insightful address by a faculty member, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. The celebration truly reflected Karnataka’s cultural vibrancy, unity, and pride.
