Students at National Public School – NORTH celebrated National Science Day on 28th February 2025 with great passion, honouring scientific enquiry and innovation.

The assembly began with the thought for the day, emphasizing the importance of science. The school Vice Principal inaugurated the event with a fascinating experiment, spraying phenolphthalein on sodium hydroxide to reveal “National Science Day”, symbolizing the magic of science.

A song performance by Grade I students added a cheerful touch, followed by a cosplay by a Grade III student paying tribute to Sir C. V. Raman and his contributions. Students performed an energetic dance, blending creativity, music with science.

The highlight was a skit by Grade VII students, “The Spark of Tomorrow,” showcasing the impact of scientific discoveries. The teacher’s talk further inspired students to embrace science in their lives. It communicated a powerful message that “Science is the process which takes us from confusion to understanding!”

After the assembly, students from Grade I to VII were engaged in hands-on activities in their respective classrooms. A collage-making activity based on this year’s theme, Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat, was organized for higher grades focusing on a progressive and scientifically advanced India.
