Raksha Bandhan

The festival of Raksha Bandhan literally means a ‘bond of protection’

The pre-primary students celebrated the festival with lot of fun and cheer. They tied hand-made rakhis to each other and revelled in the spirit of universal brotherhood.

A simple thread that symbolizes hope, faith, love and trust was the tenet during the celebrations in the school. A short video was shown to impress on the little minds the importance of Raksha Bandhan as a festival .The festival is about someone who cares for you and always looks out for you.
