The Pre-Primary students celebrated Sankranti with great enthusiasm on Tuesday, 13th January. The Thought for the Day beautifully highlighted the spirit of the festival: “Like the rising sun, every day brings new light and hope.”
The young learners enthusiastically connected this seasonal harvest festival with the four directions, presenting joyful songs in different languages, reflecting India’s rich cultural diversity. The celebration also emphasized the significance of kite flying, symbolizing freedom, joy, and new beginnings.
Dressed vibrantly in shades of yellow, the students added warmth and cheer to the atmosphere. The campus was filled with smiles, laughter, and festive energy, making the day truly memorable.
The Sankranti celebration was a fun-filled and meaningful experience, leaving everyone with a sense of joy, hope, and cultural pride — reminding us that festivals are not just traditions, but celebrations of togetherness and positivity.
