The Nursery students at National Public School, NORTH conducted a special assembly in observance of Wildlife Conservation Day on Friday, 5 th December 2025. The primary objective of the assembly was to raise awareness about the significance of wildlife protection and the preservation of nature among young learners.

The assembly commenced with the Thought for the Day: “Protect wildlife, preserve the planet.” This message was elaborately discussed, emphasizing the pivotal role that caring for both animals and the environment plays in maintaining the balance of our planet and ensuring a sustainable future for all living beings.

Although Wildlife Conservation Day is celebrated globally on 4 th December, the Nursery students honoured the occasion with enthusiasm and insight. Subsequently, they performed a meaningful song titled Together We Change the World which reinforced themes of unity and shared responsibility toward the environment. The event culminated in a charming skit Nature is Happy. Through a series of expressive actions, the children effectively communicated the vital message of the importance of nature and the need for its protection.
