On the first day back, our youngest learners of pre-primary school stepped from the sunlit days of summer into a vibrant school atmosphere alive with promise. The school corridors cradled hesitant footsteps with empathy and care. For the students still wrapped in the gentle lap of holiday warmth, each step closer to the classroom is a tiny adventure—sometimes daunting, always significant.

The corridors and classroom walls blossomed with inviting decorations and hand- crafted keepsakes, turning the space into a haven that felt both familiar and full of new discoveries. The scent of crayons and glue lingered in the air, and every corner revealed delightful surprises—a basket of plush toys, a cozy reading nook, or a cheerful welcome banner.

The joyful reunion of friends eased away first-day jitters, replacing nerves with laughter and bright smiles.

Soft rustle of shoes and a chorus of song,
Bright shining faces where they truly belong.
Stacking tall castles from blocks on the floor,
Laughter and smiles spill out through the door.
Warm voices guide them, making jitters take flight,
A grand new adventure begins in the light.

This first day is but the ink on the page—the opening line of a grand new chapter brimming with countless stories that these tender hearts have yet to tell.
