A special assembly on World Animal Welfare Day was conducted by the students of Grades IVC and IV D on 16 October 2025 to raise awareness about the importance of kindness and compassion towards animals. The programme began with a thought for the day, followed by an introduction to the significance of caring for all living beings.

A skit titled ‘Animals Are Our Friends’ was performed, demonstrating the students’ engagement. Through straightforward dialogues and actions, the skit illustrated how small acts of kindness, such as feeding stray dogs or maintaining cleanliness, can have a meaningful impact. It highlighted that animals experience pain, fear, and love, emphasising the responsibility to protect them. During the assembly, the teacher discussed the importance of including animals in everyday life.

The assembly concluded with the students affirming their commitment to treating all living beings with kindness and compassion, alongside a final message that kindness towards animals reflects the kindness within individuals.
