On the occasion of World United Nations Day, a special assembly was conducted at NPS-NORTH by students of Grade VII C. It was a vibrant celebration of global unity and partnership.

The thought for the day shared “Great things happen to those who don’t stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful.” inspired the audience setting the theme of perseverance and resilience.

The assembly continued with the pledge led by the house prefect, fostering a sense of unity and collective responsibility. The main highlight was the World UN Day skit which creatively demonstrated how the United Nations brings nations together to resolve conflicts and promote peace.

The teacher talk segment further emphasised the importance of the day and encouraged students to reflect on their roles as global citizens, inspired by UN values. Students learned about the importance of global cooperation, respect for diversity, and efforts to ensure equality and peace worldwide

Overall, the assembly was a memorable tribute to the values of peace, cooperation, and individual contribution, teaching students to appreciate different cultures.
